HC 1660 - O of GOD - double struck (slightly lower & to the right

HC 1660 - 0 of date double struck; one high and one lower and to the right

HC 1660 - Double OO at end of COMMOON. Stop between COMMOON ● WEALTH

    

HC 1660 - 2nd O over (weak) N of COMMOON. The top corner, straight leg & foot of N below O showing

HC 1660 - Obv. Small hole at top (12 o'clock) otherwise all clear and centred

                            Reads COMMOON - Double OO at end instead of COMMON.

                            The 2nd O in COMMOON is struck over struck on an N !?

                            Part of the left leg, top edge, straight leg and foot show- as shown with red arrows

                            There is now a stop between COMMOON ● WEALTH - normal there is not !

                            The extra stop between COMMON ● WEALTH only seen for 1852 (ESC 27).

                   Rev. O of GOD double struck - slightly lower and to the right

                 Date: 0 has been struck twice - once high towards the edge (above and to the

                           right of the hole). The 2nd 0 is to the right of the 1st 0 & below and to the right.

                           Slight scratch from edge down through 2nd 6 left edge & I I to shield

              Grade: VF? for issue

               Rarity: An extremely rare date and not usually found in auction or dealers lists.

                   Ref: Spink 3216: ESC 61: Rarity 4:  Only 11 to 20 example known of the normal 1660 issue.

            However, this coin could very well an early period FAKE !  Open to offers.
